After a long hiatus, I was making another strip when the "Minions & Monsters" trailer appeared at the Super Bowl.
So, I had to change things a bit.
Trailer below:
Legally I cannot say much yet about the movie itself, but yes, I worked on this as a consultant and designer.
And the green guy is named "Goomi."
So, dots were quickly linked by some cultists, and I had to make this quick strip for the occasion.
Purists will complain that Lovecraft is reaching the big screen through humour and nonsense.
(I've heard this kind of criticism since the Vault's beggining.)
I, too, would have prefered to see the "Moutains of Madness" driven by Del Toro, Cameron, and Cruise.
But let's face it, it's not going to happen tomorrow
