A sad day for Comic World. Albert Uderzo, overall known for having created the Gaul duo "Asterix and Obelix"  with RenĂ© Goscinny, just died, and for most french adults, it's a great loss.  The vast majority of French people discovered the "Bande DessinĂ©" (comics) medium via the adventures of the small warrior and his big acolyte bringer of Menhir (painted here), fighting the Roman Empire with a lot of humor. Quite all houses had some copies of Asterix, published since 1959. I had chance to quickly discover other creators and universes, but for most, it's still a strong symbol of the Franco-Belgian Comics wave.
